(POLL) 60% of military voters approve of Trump

The following is from Rasmussen Reports.

Most likely US military voters say they approve of President Donald Trump’s job performance and strongly support legislation aimed at expanding veterans’ rights, according to a new Rasmussen Reports survey conducted with Veteran Action.

Sixty percent (60%) of likely US military voters say they approve of the job Trump is doing as president, including 38% who say they strongly approve. Forty percent (40%) say they disapprove, including 30% who say they strongly disapprove. Trump’s approval rating among military voters is 15 points higher than among all likely US voters.

Support is also strong for the Veterans’ Bill of Rights Act. Ninety-four percent (94%) say they support the legislation, including 74% who say they strongly support it. The proposal would require the Dept. of Veterans Affairs to more clearly inform veterans about their healthcare, benefits and services.

If the election for Congress were held today, 57% of military voters say they would vote for the Republican candidate, while 35% say they would vote for the Democrat. Eight percent (8%) say they are undecided or would vote for a third-party candidate.

The survey of 1,516 likely US military voters was conducted February 27–March 17, 2026. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.
