First, I do not know any of the “inside story” and was pretty surprised by much that MTB wrote in her two-part substack attack on the MAHA organization and RFK, Jr. this week. Some say it is not all accurate. I do not know.
Second, I found something Simon Dixon said relevant. When Danny Jones suggested that the Trump administration was the most corrupt in history, Simon pushed back a tad. He said it was the most transparent—and it is the first time we see the corruption right in front of our faces. He then said all the administrations basically do the same thing. That does NOT make corruption okay, but it IS food for thought.
I do not support self-dealing or other forms of corruption. I have concluded that US foreign policy has become whatever benefits the Trump organization. MAGA was a great idea, but I don’t think the administration ever seriously considered implementing it.
MAHA is also a great idea. As I have shown before, US life expectancy is quite low compared to economically comparable nations. Years of healthy life (not shown on the graph below) are even worse. Heath care costs are unaffordable and nearly twice what every other developed country pays. I think this is primarily due to the bad food we eat. It is also due to lack of exercise, water that could be cleaner, too many drugs and too many vaccines.
As a former health care provider, I think that eating real food could extend the US lifespan by about 5 years. Instead, the system is trying to nudge us into eating worse and worse food-like products. So I think the MAHA idea of upgrading the food supply is extremely important—and it has taught millions of Americans that their food choices matter a lot and need to be improved. And there is evidence that Americans are paying a lot more attention to the food they consume.
I think the COVID vaccines also reduced overall life expectancy, and that it is critical to get them off the market. All mRNA vaccines should be gone imho. I know this was a top priority for Mr. Kennedy, much more so than improving the food supply, when he got into office. But he was allowed to “go wild” on food, in photo ops—as long as he didn’t upset Big Food’s bottom line. He was not allowed to “go wild” on anything else, or touch the COVID vaccines.
And it took awhile, maybe until the polls showed that MAHA votes would be critical in the midterms—but he was then allowed to investigate the other vaccines on the childhood schedule, just a little. When a Boston judge cut that short, Trump’s DOJ didn’t back up Bobby and the ACIP, revealing that the administration was actually not very supportive on his vaccine efforts.
So Kennedy is fenced in, and yet as all good members of the administration do, must bow and scrape to the leader. I don’t know who writes his speeches. I don’t care for most of them. But he is being a team player, and that is his only option if he wishes to remain in his position.
Now, is Bobby a crook or is the trademarked MAHA organization a crook?
It seems like Bobby got a good book deal for $4 million for 2 future books from his friend Tony Lyons, the leader of MAHA Action and publisher of Skyhorse Books. As one of the editors of several of Bobby’s books, I know that he does write them himself, and we had a good back-and-forth about suggested edits. He usually agreed with me, but not always. He cranks these books out fairly quickly—remarkably—while doing many other things. He has an excellent memory.
How do former Presidents and First Ladies fare in their book deals?
Barack Obama and Michelle got a $65 million book deal for two books that were probably ghost-written.
Hillary Clinton got $8 million for one book about her time as First Lady, back in 2000.
The exact advance Hillary Clinton received for her 2017 memoir What Happened was not officially disclosed by publisher Simon & Schuster, though reports described the deal as being in the “high seven figures” (typically around $7 million to $9 million). [1]
For comparison, her previous major book deals included:
-
$8 million for Living History (2003)
-
$11.5 million to $14 million reported for Hard Choices (2014)
Bobby had a million-seller (1.4 million copies) with his Fauci book, despite no media taking ads for the book and the NYT throttling it, although it was probably the biggest selling book of the year. Skyhorse published it, with a CHD imprint.
So is $4 million too much of an advance? It doesn’t look that way to me.
What is his salary? $253,100 this year, a bit less than 2/3 the average for an American doctor these days, which is said to be $386,000. Probaby not enough to pay the mortagages on his homes in California and DC. (The most I ever earned doctoring was $150,000 in a year, but the job pays a lot better today, once you have sold your soul.)
So does he need other income, like a book advance? I’d think so.
What about the MAHA organization? They have spent a lot of money on many events, some lavish; renting a large set of offices right across from the Capitol; paying a relatively large staff; and supporting MAHA goals in general. They have also collected a good bit in donations, and apparently their two MAHA Summits (unlike their other events) required the speakers, who were on a stage with Kennedy, Vance, Bhattacharya, Diamantis and other top government officials, to pay for their access.
I don’t like that, and after attending the first Summit, decided to skip the second one, once I understood how it worked. But this is the way of DC. I hate it. But this type of thing has been going on for a long time. We just didn’t hear about it so much until Trump was President, and then the media were` given free rein to investigate and publish this type of dirt.
We don’t know if any individuals in the MAHA organization are skimming any of this money for themselves. What we do know is that large amounts of money have been coming in and going out. And Mary Talley Bowden is repeating what the NY Times has been blasting over the past few months.
We will find out whether Bobby keeps his job and where the MAHA organization will be after the election. We already know the Trump organization is not really a friend of the MAHA agenda.
-
Has Bobby been ‘captured’ by the Deep State, the Zionists and/or the Trump operation?
-
Is he doing what he must in desperation to keep his job?
-
Does he hope if he stays in, he can do a lot of good in terms of vaccines and food?
I don’t know those answers. DC is a swamp, and its owners have many ways to obtain compliance. We might have to wait for Bobby’s future books to come out to learn ‘What Happened.’ While waiting, you can read Mary Talley Bowden’s 2026 book, “Dangerous Misinformation.”
My bottom line is that there is nothing to be gained by publicly throwing darts at those who may be able to do a lot of good in future. But I don’t expect anyone else to share my opinion.
