Americans are nearly evenly divided over whether they are optimistic about the future.
That’s according to the latest unscientific poll at SharylAttkisson.com.
Fifty-one percent (51%) say they are not optimistic about the future.
Forty-nine percent (49%) say they are optimistic.
With neither side holding a clear advantage, the poll reflects a deeply divided view of what the future holds.
