This document is the same old, same old you have heard about from me for the past three and a half years.
Here it is if you want to read it: 9 pages of United Nations pablum about all the wondrous things everyone agrees with… except they don’t. Nations voted in favor (153 to 3, with the 3 No’s being the US. Israel and Argentina; and 2 abstentions, New Zealand and Paraguay, if I remember correctly.). New Zealand pointed out that it had rejected the IHR amendments, and so it was not going to agree with a new document that was (in part) based on something it had not agreed to. It seems so weird how the UN takes votes then provides lots of time for nations to disagree with what they just voted for. But this procedure confirms that the vote is, in fact, meaningless.
There is only one important thing to know about this document and yesterday’s vote: it has no legal meaning. It is non-binding. It is just a bunch of words strung together to say that the UN system still wants the PABS agreement and Pandemic Treaty to be completed and to enter into force. It still wants all those other things, too, like:
-
One Health
-
Gender Equality
-
Equity
-
Universal Health Coverage (i.e., health insurance)
-
Mental health care
-
Reproductive health care (i.e., birth control and abortion)
-
Reproductive rights, whatever they are
-
Getting rid of vaccine hesitancy
-
Getting rid of misinformation and disinformation (note: this terminology is global)
-
Lots more money, new ways of financing
-
A “whole-of-government, whole-of-society” approach to PPPR (more terminology that seemed to be American, but this silly concept has been embedded globally—or at least the cabal’s PR people are trying to do so).
I left out the first 4 pages of “whereas’s” and highlighted the buzzwords in the document’s second half that we have come to know, below. Note that the UN has never adopted the American phrase, “My body, my choice” because then it could not push vaccine mandates.
